The Caldwell Design Studio was founded by Jesse Caldwell, a 2001 graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. A sculptor, glass blower, metal worker, wood worker, and he has also trained under Berkeley-based Fu-Tung Cheng, the world-renowned innovator in the use of concrete for residential applications.

Located in Washington, DC, the Caldwell Design Studio works with architects, builders and homeowners to design and fabricate design elements for residential and commercial interiors and exteriors including counters and work surfaces, integral sinks, tables, benches, fireplace surrounds, shower surrounds, water features, vanities and other surfaces. It can also be used to make tiles with the same sorts of finishes as well as well claddings.
